1.This Criteria is stipulated pursuant to Article 12 of the Commodity Labeling Act.
2.The baby walking frame in the criteria refers to the structure that places the baby in a sitting or standing position inside the product, supported by a frame, for the baby to move around.
3.The label of baby walking frames shall include the following:
(1)Name of commodity and model number;
(2)Commodities manufactured domestically, the name, address and service telephone number of the manufacturer, contractor or distributor shall be labeled. Imported commodities, the name, address and service telephone number of the importer or distributor and the foreign name of the foreign manufacturer or foreign contractor shall be labeled;
(3)Place of origin;
(4)Major components/ingredients or materials;
(5)Applicable age (in terms of months) and the maximum weight permitted(in terms of kilograms);
(6)"Year, month" or "year, week" of manufacturing;
(7)Methods of use (with operating methods such as assembly, adjustment, maintenance, or folding up);
(8)Precautions and emergency treatments;
(9)Warnings. Examples of the contents are as follows:
(a)Warning! Do not use in the absence of adults.
(b)Warning! Do not use for more than 30 minutes per session.
(c)Warning! Only use the baby walking frame on the even surface and without any danger or hurdles.
(d)Warning! Please make sure the baby has both feet on the ground.
(e)Warning! Please remove the baby when you move the baby walking frame.
(f)Warning! Please keep from stairs, door sills, slopes and pools when the baby walking frame is in use.
(g)Warning! Please stay away from heat sources such as fire stores and electric heaters when the baby walking frame is in use.
(10)Special warnings shall be labeled if the baby walking frame prone to specific injuries. The types and text content examples of special warning are shown in the table below:

4.Labeling methods for baby walking frames are as the following:
(1)The labeling requirements of Criterion No.3. shall be easily seen and firmly attached on the product and which label shall be made of durable material. However, (7) of Criterion No.3. can be labeled in the manual.
(2)The size of words or numbers used in the labeling shall exceed 2.5 mm ×2.5 mm.
(3)The contents should be expressed in a plain and simple language, with eligible fonts, texts or illustrations.
(4)The typeface or symbols used in a warning shall be of a different color that is easily distinguishable from the background colors. The size of the word "warning" shall exceed 5mm×5mm.
5.The Criteria shall take effect on May 18, 2023.
